A community-led safe space building a home where queer people can connect, heal, grow, and thrive together.
Queer Adda is a community-led safe space initiative of Positive YUVA Network Association, created to support, connect, and empower LGBTQIA+ individuals across Rajasthan.
The name “Adda” represents a place where people come together to share stories, build friendships, exchange ideas, and find belonging. For many queer individuals, such spaces are rare. Queer Adda exists to change that.
At its core, Queer Adda is a space where LGBTQIA+ people can be themselves without fear of judgment, discrimination, or exclusion. It is designed to foster community, mental well-being, peer support, leadership, and access to essential services for those who often face isolation and stigma in their daily lives.
We bring together queer individuals through peer support groups, community conversations, counselling referrals, legal aid support, leadership development, and social events.
Community members are not beneficiaries but leaders and contributors. Every activity is guided by lived experiences, ensuring the space remains inclusive, responsive, and empowering.
To build a Rajasthan where every LGBTQIA+ person has access to safe, affirming, and community-owned spaces that nurture dignity, resilience, leadership, and pride.
While welcoming queer individuals from all diverse backgrounds, our initiative places particular emphasis on supporting:
